Welcome everyone to the "Donate A Penny" Blog, or as I like to call it:
"The save the World one Penny at a Time Engine"
The purpose of this blog is to promote causes worthy of some consideration, causes a single penny that you may have found on the street could help.
Everyday we find pennies, lose pennies, kick them, even toss them. Heck, if you are mean spirited enough you might even feed them to animals at the Zoo. What we don't realize is that those pennies could be putting someone through college, saving lives, feeding needy children, educating needy families.
Here at Donate A Penny I would like to invite anyone and everyone to send me their cause. Are you a charity, a church, a kid trying to go to college (much like myself), starving, have a legal fund, a soldier who lost a leg in the war?
If you are, send us an e-mail at DonatoPenny@gmail.com, or at Mdesangles@gmail.com with your name, your website, your cause, your organization and whatever other information you would like me to post. I will investigate, and if I find that you are worthy of a Penny (and who isn't? scammers, perhaps) I will make a post featuring your cause, and add a permanent link to your website.
As for our cause, every penny donated will be used for my college fund, my sister's college fund, my mother's college fund, and my fiance's college fund. It's tough when your entire family is trying to get educated, striving for a better life. The money will be used to pay for tuition, books, transportation, and will also be put away for graduate school.
Furthermore, for every 5 pennies I receive, I will donate one penny to any one cause sponsored in this website/blog.
